Cindy specializes in the treatment of a range of disorders including anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, and PTSD. With a compassionate and holistic approach to therapy, she is dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their lives and achieve emotional wellness.
Additionally, she works with athletes to address a range of challenges, including eating disorders and other mental health concerns. She understands the unique pressures and demands faced by athletes. Drawing from a diverse toolkit of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and family systems theory, Cindy empowers her clients to develop healthier relationships with food, their bodies, and their sport. She fosters a safe and non-judgmental environment where athletes feel comfortable exploring their emotions, identifying underlying issues, and implementing effective coping strategies.
Cindy has a particular interest in intergenerational trauma and its impact on mental health across generations. Drawing from a culturally sensitive lens and a deep understanding of systemic influences, she collaborates with clients to heal past wounds, break destructive patterns, and cultivate resilience.
Beyond her clinical work, Cindy is a stand-up comedian and is committed to promoting laughter and mental health awareness within the community. She delivers workshops and presentations on topics such as body image, performance anxiety, and stress management, aiming to reduce stigma and facilitate open dialogue around mental health issues.
